Prior to 2013, for 8 years  with the Denver, Colorado firm of Jones & Keller, PC, Mark dedicated most of his practice to  the firm’s institutional practice group, representing community banks and other institutional lenders, as well as private equity lenders, in all aspects of loan lease and other credit transactions. In addition to participation in the documentation of credit transactions and the compliance review of financial institution loans and deposit documentation, Mark’s practice was highly focused in the resolution of disputes arising from banking relationships through workouts and forbearances, negotiated and mediated settlements, and the litigation and arbitration of   loan, deposit, lender liability, mechanics lien real estate, and inter-bank claims in the state, federal and bankruptcy courts.

For 10 years prior to joining Jones & Keller, Mark was in-house compliance attorney with Harland Financial Solutions’ community-bank oriented loan platform business units, part of the team ensuring the proper documentation of  secured and unsecured consumer and commercial transactions to ensure federal and multiple state compliance.
